The Raleigh Tailor is a concierge tailoring service. We come to you! No need to haul around several pairs of shoes or a pile of clothing to the tailors. We come to your home pin or mark your garments and then take them back to our studio. Once the alteration are done we will deliver them back to you within a week or sooner depending on how many garments you have. Our mission is to build a relationship with our clients. To learn your style and how you like your clothing to look and fit. All of our tailors are European trained and have many years of experience. The tailor who pins or marks your garment will be the one who sews your garment, this will results in the best outcome for your clothing. Please contact us to set up an appointment.
Services
ALTERATIONS
We offer both men’s and women’s alterations, no job is too big or too small. Everything from simple repairs, children’s clothes, hemming, suits, jean’s recutting/remaking garments and formal dresses. Although we do work on all formal dresses we do not work on bridal gowns.
STYLING
Need to know what to wear for a special event, a wedding, a job interview or even a first date. If you are getting ready to go back to work or a career change or even a vacation. We can get your wardrobe ready for it. Whether you need help with organizing what is already in your closet or you need help figuring out what to buy and add to your existing wardrobe. Also if you need anything tailored we will take care of that as well.
$95 hourly + cost of any alteration
CLOSET CLEAN OUT
A closet clean out is an 2 hour appointment where we combine styling and tailoring. We will go through your closet and determined what needs altering, what to keep and what to donated. As you try on your clothes we will mark/pin your garments as needed and discuss your style options. After we are done we will organize your clothing and take the clothes that need altering with us to be fixed and will be delivered back to you at a later date. We will also haul aways everything you want to donate and make sure it goes to local charities.
$250 + cost of alteration
